In the interest of breaking ground, I'm working up a short series of samples from my most recent recording. If you must know, it's a cover of a Low song, for a compilation we're doing just for fun. This first one is my 3 Humbucker, No Pots strat, which can be seen here (bottom of the page) and read about (sort of) over here. So, what you're going to hear is that guitar in it's "Tele Custom" configuration. That is - Neck (local series) + Bridge (local parallel). Was recorded into the V-Amp bass set to emulate a Marshall '59 Plexi thru a Vox AC100 2x15" cab. On this track, I'm playing triads on the 3 highest strings. It's a short part of the song where it goes from very quiet to as loud as it gets. Cycles through twice. The first is DI (starts very quiet and gets louder. You've been warned. Don't just crank it and then blame me that your speakers are broken!) The second time is through the amp model. No other processing has been applied yet, aside from normalizing the two parts to a similar RMS level. "Custom Tele" (.mp3 1.6M)

This next is essentially the same section of the same song. I think I'm playing my patented* G-shape powerchords (same fret on 6-2-1, mute 5, and let the others ring). It's the same guitar, but this time M(local parallel). Starts with DI and then has my "default rig": Autowah>Digital Delay>Tremolo>AC30>V-amp Custom 4x10"(amp and speaker from my blue V-amp, an original body with a V-amp2 brain) "Strat Rhythm" (1.6M) * not actually patented. pleae feel free to use where appropriate.

This one's straight powerchords. Same guitar, M(local series). There's no DI for this track. No effects, just straight into a Bassman 4x10 combo model. "Strat Crunch" (780K)

The "lead" part is played on the strat again. This time N(single)+M(single). DI first, then Bassman>Deluxe '52 1x12" "Strat Lead" (1.6M)

This will be the last, I think. You probably won't get any useful info from it, since there's no DI, and it's so heavily distorted. Much fun though. It's the LP Studio with the pair of Seymour Duncan 59's in series with each other>TurboFuzz>Autowah>94 Mesa Dual-Rectifier Trem-O-Verb>1x12" Blackface (do that in the real world without exploding something!) "LP Loud" (786K)

Ash- Good to see someone "taking the plunge", so to speak.
But unless it's just my computer acting up, you've got a couple of bad links in there- your "Custom Tele" link gives me a "directory cannot be displayed" message and your "Strat crunch" shows "page not found".
