This was my fifth guitar, done this April. I finished the wiring the night before I left for NY to deliver it to my friend and didn't take any 'posed' pictures. I do have these candids though. Only thing is, I couldn't find one that shows my favorite part, the headstock. It's a Big Apple style Strat with flamed redwood and poplar body, 24 fret, 25.5" scale poplar neck with brazilian (!) rosewood compound radius FB, single action truss rod and endgrain bamboo markers. The PU's are Grizzly's house brand Samba that I modified to four leads apiece and wired to a 5 position strat switch to get single coil combinations in addition to humbucking. The PU rings are B. Rosewood and so are the position 'dots' on the knobs. The headstock you'll just have to take my word for it, is scarf jointed and is similar in shape to a stock strat but much smaller and reversed, 'hendrix' style. It has three tuners to the side, with the low D and A reversed because of the curve. I didn't weigh this axe, but it's probably in the 5 pound range. The body is very resonant and the acoustic tone is loud and clear with great sustain. You can almost see the headstock... This guy liked it so much he reserved the next one.
