Unk... The whole situation sickens me.
Ms. Hilton broke the law. She should serve her time just as anyone who breaks the law serves their time.
Ill bet this deal was drawn up before she even went behind bars. It was her trump card and she had to wait a few days to play it out. Im glad her name is being met with BOO's & HISS's on all the chat shows.
She should be ashamed of herself, and we the public should show our disgust by ignoring her by all means possible. Make her t.v shows flop by not tuning in to them etc.
I guess its true...Money talks!....btw, I dont think shes even that good looking!

Sumgai...
She got caught DUI, then while her drivers license was under suspension was caught driving yet again.
Not to get too deep here, but I lost a very dear friend to a drunk driver. It makes my blood boil to see and hear about these things!

Sumgai... She got caught DUI, then while her drivers license was under suspension was caught driving yet again. Not to get too deep here, but I lost a very dear friend to a drunk driver. It makes my blood boil to see and hear about these things! When my wife and I were poor newlyweds, living in a basement apartment, the two "happenin'" young guys who rented the floor above used to go out partying (fine) and would routinely drive home blasted (not fine). I tried to get it through their heads ... well, you know the drill. One night, one of them was carelessly pulling out onto the street and his car got hit by an oncoming car ... driven by a sober person who was not expecting a car to come flying out of nowhere. The other driver was fine, luckily. The upstairs tenant was okay, also. But his car was a write-off, and he was charged. He moved out shortly after that - so I don't know what came of him or if he changed his ways. But, for one night at least, he got what was coming to him. Dan

I think it a bit amusing the way her recent incarceration went down. She gamed the system, showing up just before midnight the day before she was due to begin serving her sentence. That allowed her to get credit for a complete day for the short time served on that day. Then she had an unspecified medical reason why she couldn't continue to serve her time in jail after a few days. The Sheriff fitted her with an electronic tether, and released her to serve the remainder of her sentence under house arrest in the comfort of her home. This was a direct contradiction to the Judge's orders during her sentencing. She was brought back into court, and the Judge sent her back to jail. She wept... and she went.

Sweet justice! That did the heart good to watch her tear up like that. Just to show my soft underbelly... I wish her well, and I hope she has learned her lesson. Kudos to the judge!...he did the right thing.

deep, No, the right thing would have been to publicly penalize the Sheriff for contempt of court. Not just a slap-on-the-wrist tongue lashing, but a large fine to be paid out of his pocket, not the county's treasury.
The Sheriff's only defense would have been if the county-employed doctor for that jail had prescribed that PH be removed from the general population for reasons of contagion (in either direction), or that she would overburden the medical staff in monitoring any previously prescribed medicinal therapy. But even then, medical conditions are usually dealt with by incarceration in a special ward at the local hospital, not at home, where there are no medical personnel. And the Sheriff never cited any such doctoral prescription, so his butt was out of line on this one.
More than the DUI (which appears dubious to me, it was a loss of control that appeared negligent to the original arresting officer), the matter of wantonly resuming operation of a vehicle after being prohibited, that's the hallmark description of reckless endangerment, and most deserving of severe punishment. That's second only to actually maiming/killing someone on the roadway while driving impaired.
sumgai, The gai who wrote the book that gets thrown at the bad guys!

What amazes me about this deal is the complete and utter lack of common sense. Sure, it's not unusual for someone to do stupid things like driving after drinking. But even the stupidest rich-b h should be able to figure out after getting busted once, and having her license suspended, she should get a driver. Whether or not she's drinking, driving on a suspended license is just asking for more trouble. Like she couldn't afford a driver with the kind of dough she has. Of course that might cut into the Cristal and Caviar money...

I'm sorry, I really don't care about Parisite Hilton, or her legal troubles. I just hope her bunkie teaches her some respect!
