Happy birthday, Darkknight! I see you log in daily, and hope to see you posting again too. Cheers! DD ----------------------------------------------- (Dutch seems to be the closest babelfish translation I can find to ... what would it be? Flemish, in Finland? In case it somehow offends you, that is definitely NOT my intention. ) Gelukkige verjaardag, Darkknight! Ik zie u dagelijks het programma openen, en hoop om u te zien ook opnieuw postend. Juicht toe! DD (Het Nederlands schijnt de dichtste babelfishvertaling te zijn ik kan vinden… wat het zou zijn? , Vlamingen in Finland? Voor het geval dat het u op de een of andere manier beledigt, is dat absoluut NIET mijn bedoeling. )

Yes, Happy Birthday DarKnight! And D2o- The language of Finland is Finnish, a vastly different language than Dutch.: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Finnish_language In fact, Finnish is related only to Estonian among European languages. It is a member of the Uralic language group, which includes many central Asian languages; Most other European lanuages are part of the Indo-European language group. Linguistically, Finnish is more closely related to Korean than it is to Swedish, for example. So, I doubt our Finnish Knight is helped much by your translation.

Yes, Happy Birthday DarKnight! And D2o- The language of Finland is Finnish, a vastly different language than Dutch. ..... So, I doubt our Finnish Knight is helped much by your translation. Thanks, newey We debated this in the office the old-fashioned way - without internet. Probably a mistake, as the best we could come up with was Flemish When I used Babelfish, there was no choice for Finnish or Flemish, but I saw Flemish associated with Dutch somewhere ... and on Babelfish they do have Dutch, so there you go. Thus I created something based on another unrelated something that has a possible association with the original incorrect assumption. Fear not, though, as this is the same painstaking process used by many Governments to create their national policies ;D D2o EDIT: Well, if my translation wasn't bad enough, I previously misspelled DarKnight's username!

Wow thanks guys... this is a definitely a nice surprise... ;D Yes, I've been quite idle considering posting for about a year... But I'll drop a line "soon" when I finish my first guitar build... That's been taking my time for past month... Lovely that you guys have brought up our wonderful language... If my memory serves me right, our closest relative language-wise should be the hungarians... I consider finnish to be quite a challenge to learn, cos there are some radical differences in pronounciation and grammar compared to e.g. english, german or similiar. As a finn would say: Kiitos oikein paljon! (Thank you very much!) Dark
