Hey everyone! Any fans of Led Zeppelin may be pleased to know about their one off reunion! They're reuniting with Jason Bonham, John's son, on drums and are having a final gig in London at the O2 arena. Tickets costing a huge £125! For tickets you must enter a ballot and the names will be picked at ranndom. Unfortunatly the site to enter the ballot is totally jammed...

... Yeah, old but not that...
Seriously though, one of the most [if not the most] influencial bands in history!
Final gig, probably, still can't get on the site...

i heard about this the other day. I would do a lot of things to go to that show. I know it wont happen. Ive seen tons of great bands live. I would give up all of it for just one Zeppelin show. i can still remember the first time i heard Led Zeppelin. the song was Black Dog. I was in 4th grade. My older brother was playing it on the family system. I hope that they put out a DVD of the show. Id be willing to get that as a substitute. ... still not the same. Did they ever put out a video/DVD for their MTV's UnLeded?

Not trying to sound cynical...
You cant go home again. This is a money grab. Do you guys really think this will be a "one" time gig?Id much rather watch their old videos and remember them at their peak. Not old men trying to make big bucks quickly.
Its no secret that taxes are high in the U.K. Thats why im glad there will never be a Beatles reunion. I dont want to see guys well past their prime ( Musically) with heads and jowls the size of pumpkins trying to be sexy and hit notes they are just not capeable of hitting anymore.
They IMHO, just make fools of themselves and cheapen what they were at one time.

deepblue So, are you saying that your feelings about this are the same as the Van Halen reunion? You are probably right. $till, there ha$ to be $ome rea$on for reuniting the old band. I wonder what it i$?
and kuzi16, I remember the first time I heard Led Zeppelin too. It was a song called "Taurus" by Spirit in 1967. (Much of it was stolen for "Stairway to Heaven" without acknowledgment, compensation or royalties to Spirit).

Wolf...
Amazing!...I just downloaded Taurus, and it is pretty close. After doing a little online research I found that Zeppelin & Spirit DID tour together way back when, and Zepp used to do a few covers of Spirts music.
Granted, Stairway is still a classic no matter what, but hey!...Gets ya thinkin huh?
