what kind if guitar is that? the body looks like the gibsonish thing in the first In Bloom video.. but it has a fender styled neck in this one. go figure. thought they were differnt scale lengths.
maybe i need more wobbly pops...

To me, it looks like a left-handed Fender Jaguar that has been fitted with a tune-o-matic bridge and Kurt is playing upside down. If you look at this video, which seems to be of the same venue, the date is 1989: Therefore, this is likely an early shot of Kurt's favorite Jaguar, which was fitted with DiMarzio humbuckers and a tune-o-matic, but before the new pups were added. That guitar was primarily the one used to record "Nevermind". However, that's just a guess. Kurt was known to play lots of different guitars that he would buy in pawn shops or elsewhere and smash on stage. The guitar in the video is definitely a Fender Jaguar or a copy though. It's worth noting however that Fender Jaguars, Mustangs and Jag-Stangs, favored by Kurt had the shorter 24" scale as opposed to the Stratocaster's 25.5" scale. Gibson Les Paul's and SG's are 24.75".

The jag is sunburst. last i saw it was in a Hole video it already had the PAF and super distortion in it when he bought it. (the tone circuit was removed and replaced with a gibson 3 way switch as well..)
But this one looks red with a black pickguard. looks alot like the one here at 2:20 but with a differnt neck.

You seem to know more about it than me ...
The guitar in that video does appear to be a Jag with a Tune-O-Matic though, from the few decent shots in the video.

Nice video Kemmery, have you ever heard of Richard Cheese? He takes heavy metal songs and turns them into Jazzy lounge music. 2 of the ones he did are Crazy Train, and People=crap by Slipknot.
