I was thinking about building myself a guitar. It will porbably be more of a LP style. Mahogany back with a 3/4 maple cap.
Here are some questions all you gurus can answer.
I want a Bigsby. I don't have a tremelo now, nor do I see myself actually having the need to use one but the bigsbys just look so cool. Do they stay in tune well or atleast as good as your typical Fender?
How does Ace Frehly get that cool smoke out of his middle pickup hole. I was watching an old Kiss video and my little brother thought that was the coolest thing. Thats the stuff I need on my new guitar.
I was looking at the warmoth necks. They are all bolt on and I can't find a Gibson glue in stlye anywhere. Since you're all tone chasers heres my question. Does a set neck actually increase your sustain or is it just a myth?

I can't help you with your first two questions, but as far as the neck goes, I guess you don't intend to build your own? If you want a premade set-neck, I highly recommend Soulmate Guitars. www.soulmateguitars.com/Click the "Custom Made Necks" link toward the top of the page. CMA
