My manager and I were talking a while back about his great idea to somehow interface a real guitar to the Guitar Hero game. I came home and saw this link on another forum. For some reason it didn't occur to me until after seeing the post about air guitar strings that y'all might find it interesting.

That is really a pretty cool idea. Imagine...people learning something useful from a video came... I've used teaching software before, but it always got old quickly. This might actually be fun.
This thing really has quite the potential down the road. There's the game part, but if they include scale and chord modules, music theory modules and offer something like song tabs...man, this could make Disney and Washburn both a few coins...
I'll have to keep an eye out for these this summer.

Yeah, maybe somebody like GuitarWorld could work something out where they include an expansion disk with some (or all) of their issues. They could have game versions of their tabs and lessons...
