Guys... Whats going on? Are we slowing down? Is it because of the holiday season? The posts and comments seem to be slowing down. Does this mean that all of the questions regarding guitars & amps, and all the little ditties associated with them have all been answered? I THINK NOT!! If so, then ill ask a new question...Where do babies come from? ;D No stork crap please!

Deep, just got this from my mother:
WHY GOD CREATED CHILDREN (AND IN THE PROCESS GRANDCHILDREN)
To those of us who have children in our lives, whether they are our own, grandchildren, nieces, nephews, or students... here is something to make you chuckle.
Whenever your children are out of control, you can take comfort from the thought that even God's omnipotence did not extend to His own children.
After creating heaven and earth, God created Adam and Eve. And the first thing he said was "DON'T!"
"Don't what?" Adam replied.
"Don't eat the forbidden fruit." God said.
"Forbidden fruit? We have forbidden fruit? Hey Eve..we have forbidden fruit!"
"No Way!"
"Yes way!"
"Do NOT eat the fruit! " said God.
"Why?"
"Because I am your Father and I said so! " God replied, wondering why He hadn't stopped creation after making the elephants. A few minutes later, God saw His children having an apple break and He was ticked! "Didn't I tell you not to eat the fruit? " God asked.
"Uh huh," Adam replied.
"Then why did you? " said the Father.
"I don't know," said Eve.
"She started it! " Adam said.
"Did not! "
"Did too! "
"DID NOT! "
Having had it with the two of them, God's punishment was that Adam and Eve should have children of their own. Thus the pattern was set and it has never changed.
BUT THERE IS REASSURANCE IN THE STORY!
If you have persistently and lovingly tried to give children wisdom and they haven't taken it, don't be hard on yourself. If God had trouble raising children, what makes you think it would be a piece of cake for you?
THINGS TO THINK ABOUT!
1. You spend the first two years of their life teaching them to walk and talk. Then you spend the next sixteen telling them to sit down and shut up.
2. Grandchildren are God's reward for not killing your own children.
3. Mothers of teens now know why some animals eat their young.
4. Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.
5. The main purpose of holding children's parties is to remind yourself that there are children more awful than your own.
6. We childproofed our homes, but they are still getting in.
ADVICE FOR THE DAY:
Be nice to your kids. They will choose your nursing home one day.
AND FINALLY:
IF YOU HAVE A LOT OF TENSION AND YOU GET A HEADACHE, DO WHAT IT SAYS ON THE ASPIRIN BOTTLE:
"TAKE TWO ASPIRIN" AND "KEEP AWAY FROM CHILDREN"!!!!!

ccso... That was great!...I got a kick out of your response. I showed the little woman and she got a hoot out of it as well.
crazyman... I agree, I think some people find GN2 in a search engine, ask a question and never return. They should stick around. This is a great place to be.

Thanks, deep. I think that a lot of it is just the holidays. I know that I have been really busy and a lot of times just checked the site without even logging in. I just didn't spend much time on line the last week or so. Then again, maybe it was that case of turkey poisoning.... Ah, but no, the extra slice of pumpkin pie cured that. Must just be the holiday rush.

When I first signed up here, I thought that in return for the good help and advise I was given, the least I could do was go through the site and return the favour wherever I could. Once I had been through most of it I just check the new stuff that comes in, every day of two, but to save time I only log in if I have something useful to say. So I'm usually around, just hiding!
Add to that, I'm a freelancer, and when work or gigs come along, I take them- and there has been plenty of it about lately, so I've had less time for daydreaming about crazy guitar projects or making new purchases. In a week or two when things quiten down again I might be making a bit more noise here again.
Oh, and if you want kids, have a look at a school- they have tons of them, semi free range, and with a wide variety of options. I don't know what the credit deals are like though. ;D

Pink? Grey? INSTITUTIONAL? You guys want colors, well....... looky here, I can do that (I think). But it's not as easy as most boards, with skins and all. I have to add a bastardized conglomeration of javascript and html (taken together, they comprise DHTML) into the header of each page. I can do this (supposedly, or so they tell me), but I've resisted so far - seems like I'd be forcing everyone to my personal preference, and I can't believe that you'd all tolerate, let alone like, Yellow on Blue. Now if I could somehow do a sunburst............ sumgai
