I've been thinking about selling my Alvarez RC20SC and would like some opinions on it's value. I bought it new about two years ago and recently replaced the electronics. It has new strings and an Alvarez hardshell case as well.
Any input would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Roadkill-
Hello and Welcome!
I don't have any specific knowledge of this guitar or what it's worth. Since it's only 2 years old, it doesn't have any collectable or vintage value yet. So the value is going to be dependent on condition and depreciation.
If Alvarez still sells this model new, check the price of a new one with a hardshell case. Assuming yours is in mint, like new condition, figure probably at least 15% depreciation.
The new strings probably add nothing to its value- that's maintenance. As to the electronics, if your replacement is an upgrade, that may add a bit of value if a buyer is going to see that as an improvement on stock.
BTW, since you're not actually selling this yet, this thread would probably be more appropriate in the "guitars" section. But you're new here, and no one posts much in this section anyway, so I'm letting it slide.

In good condition, with case, you're in the $200.00 to $250.00 range. Trade-in is probably around $125.00 to $175.00 range. Your results may vary.
Happy Trails

Thank you very much for both the information and the welcome (and I apologize for the misplacement of this post). I was expecting a much higher depreciation so this is good news. Unfortunately the new electronics are not an upgrade, just a replacement. I appreciate the input greatly.
