He appears to have dissappeared, with all the diagrams that he ever posted.
Chris - If that was intentional, its simple, you should come back. You helped a lot of people and it was much appreciated. If that was worth doing then, then it still is so now. On the other hand, to put up a lot of great info, and then delete it suddenly - not a good thing.
Hope to see you back soon.
cheers John

I've learned more about electronics and wiring a guitar in the past 21 months then I did in all the previous 33 years combined. Most of that is directly related to the postings by Chris. Granted I still have a long way to go...
I never would have finished my three rather un-challenging designs without his help and patience. I owe you for your direct and indirect help on those and can only offer thanks in return.
It would be a significant loss to this board if Chris and all his insight were to just disappear. And it isn't just his vast technical knowledge. I'll miss his wicked sense of humor.
Chris, if you're really gone, we'll miss you...and you'll never see this. If you're just AWOL for a bit we'll be more then happy to see you back.
Chris...come back Chris...
Happy Trails

Who is rabidgerry? that's the first time I have ever seen that name. I would understand being p d if it was somebody prominent, but it does not appear so. Probably just somebody who didn't think when he erased the copyright... I know I tend to blank out alot... come back chris?

Chris,
Please don't leave us.
I don't know what happened, and it doesn't really matter - the fact is this place is what it is (at least the good stuff) because of you, and would not be the same (at least the good stuff) without you.
Please don't leave us.
Best regards, D2o

stratty, rabidgerry is just like you, another member who wanted/needed help, and ended up at the NutzHouse. Chris helped him, you, all of us, without ever worring over prominence, or any other personality trait or quirk. For 'the rest of the story', you'd have to ask Chris himself, but in a nutshell, he's a bonafied Electrical Engineer, so when he designs something, big or small, his name is on the line as to whether or not it will work, and whether or not his reputation will be enhanced or besmirched. When his work is uncredited, he's sensitive because somebody somewhere will remember his first publication of that same drawing, and will question him as to who really authored it in the first place - Chris himself, or some unknown dolt. That's reason enough to gnash one's teeth, but there may be other reasons, personal and/or professional - that'd be up to Chris to expand upon, not me. HTH sumgai

gai, I understand rapid is like me, so I think it could have just been an honest mistake... and I ment nothing against Chris! He has helped me multiple times already. My words probably did not mean what their purpose was....

Oh dear...
Chris has clearly made a massive contribution to this forum, often clearing up collective misunderstandings about the direction electricity is going to flow, and often going well above my head in detail. His expertise will leave a big gap here if they truly are gone for good, not to mention his dry sense of humour.
I hope he does come back to read these comments and knows how much his input has been appreciated, and that such a faux pas, whether accidental or intentional will never match the weight of what he has brought to the forum.
We'll keep a place set for you, Chris.

Whoa!
Gone for a little while and POOF!
Chris, bud....you're the best. I can't imagine anyone would have intentionally messed with your stuff. There is so much stuff here it is possible that someone copied and pasted a schematic more than once.
You've done such a great job here and to give it up is a shame, but if that is your wish, I respect it.
Take care Chris!

WTF- I need a drink now. Just stopping by to see how things are going and WHAM..., this is the first thing I see.
Chris, You don't know me but you've done a ton for me. Thank You. I wish you the best.
The rest of you guys are OK too. Now, someone please forward me the address of the dillhole who messed this up. NS

Waiting with bated breath - the diagrams seem to be now back!
Now we need the Master himself, for the simple reasons that we all want him around, and it wouldnt be the same without him. cheers John

I don't want to diminish the contributions others here have made to my various bits of tinkering, but Chris is a genius and has helped me figure out (read: figured out for me) so much stuff. This board will not be the same without him.
If gone for good, sad is.
