Wow ... I am speechless ... and it's time for some Listerine to take that taste out of mouth. Yuck. Oh well - you did warn, in your signature, "The preceding text may contain hyperbole and derision, substances which the State of California has determined can cause cancer and advanced stages of whining. You have been fairly warned!" D2o

I did some more research on these guys.
Turns out that video is about a decade old. There are several other versions of that tune on YouTube, as well as many other tunes, including some in Russian.
The line up started changing shortly after this Millenium started, and some of the newer members have been equally outrageous. The musical direction has also changed several times, but for the most part, they are always entertaining.
I posted this partly because of the bass-version of the balalaika and partly because of the Russian scales being played on that Gretsch guitar. Not to mention that the singer (who is also a good guitar player) can really move an audience. Showmanship combined with musicianship, an unstoppable combination.
But I really like what I'm hearing out of the guitar!

Well, they're a tight little band and they are entertaining.
At least they're still working...

Yeah, they are - plus I'm usually all in favour of hot chicks in short-shorts, too ...
... but somehow the cheesy chicks in the tight shorts keep making me think of this guy.

Well, at least that wasn't Tom Shane! (I've always said, if I had any friends in the diamond business, they'd give me a nice fat rock to do with as I wish. ) But just to make sure the point is clear: The girls aren't part of the Red Elvises act, they're part and parcel of the Penn & Teller extravaganza. Personally, I thought they were rather ugly.

D2oYa know, jes on observation here, but if you, a fine upstanding member of his community and a tribute to his society, can be so easily hypnotized by femme(s)-NON-fatale, it's no wonder that your country is in deep doo-doo. I ain't sayin' nuttin' here ya know, I'm just sayin' tha's all. ;D Now admit it, these guys can rock out! Or at least, 10 years ago they were rockin' it good and hard, like Rock'n'Roll should be done!! Today, things have changed, whether for better or worse, it remains to be seen. sumgai
