Am I the only one who doesn’t really find “That Great Gretsch Girl” all that, uh, “great”? (No offense, Kim Falcon - honest … although I don’t know how you could possibly not be offended …) I’d gladly share my life with that guitar, though. D2o P.S. I'd even take the amp ... after a thorough cleansing.

Okay, if the BODY of the guitar is the.. well... body... And the TONE of the guitar is the... well... personality... and the NECK is the... well... neck... and the TUNING PEGS is the... well... hair...then I'm going to call it a HEADSTOCK issue.

Call me a purist, but I think that stickers, decals and such don't belong on a body

...at least you guys haven't meandered off into what chord she might be playing...yet...
Honestly, all the real hot ones are in motorcycle ads anyway...
Besides, this is only the demented creation of some marketing weasel...she's probably just a Divinity student working off her student loans...

It'd be easier to see what she was playing if we could get a clear look at her G string, but I think I can safely say that she's not playing any of OUR D chords.

SEE? Even SHE plays with her thumb over the top of the neck. Coincidence? I think not...

Well, all the parts are in the right places, so I normally say "SHOW ME YOUR BRAINS!"
I have an old Danelectro photo that's too "risque" to post here.

...at least you guys haven't meandered off into what chord she might be playing...yet... Come to think of it ... see that beautiful headstock, with those beautiful tuning keys ... all lined up perfectly? It doesn't matter what chord she is (or is not) playing ... it is virtually impossible that that guitar is in tune.

She needs a little gold and elegance to match the equipment. Plugging in wouldn't hurt the look, but the tuners do need tweaking don't they. Too much body art for this photo. Setzer already has that covered.

...... I used to get these guys mixed up … Ya, by about 12,000 miles! ;D ;D ;D ;D Ya, despite that. But look … there are similarities – hometown name sounds funny and begins with an “M” … region name begins with “New”. Huh? Huh? I'm tellin' ya there's somethin' goin' on here ... By the way – note that care should be taken when walking to each other’s houses, as the route may be missing sidewalks or pedestrian paths. ... and to add to the conspiracy ...

Reminds me of the old Rock joke which asserted that Frank Zappa and Jim Croce were one and the same person.
The proof was that they had never appeared on the same stage together!

Oh, I don't know. Think of the compilation album........
"Bad, Bad, Billy Was a Mountain", or, how about "Operator Can You Help Me Place This Freakout"........
I'm hearing possibilities here .
BTW that Gretsch girl is sure getting alot of press for being unatractive & all.
