In the process of looking for something else, I ran across a very interesting site offering guitar templates. www.guitarbuildingtemplates.comWell, that stands to reason... What impressed me the most was the amount of offerings the had. Everything from Strats or various periods, Les Pauls, SG's, Jazzmasters...the list goes on. Everything they does is either CNC or laser cut. For example, wanna build Brian May's guitar? Here's what you get: How about the much discussed Jazzmaster? OK: They've even got one for Prince's guitar from Purple Rain They also have Variax templates to allow you to drop one into the guitar of your choice: And if you provide a tangent Arc segment .dxf or .dwg drawing they can make a custom template. Details here. Their prices are reasonable, considering you even get the neck template. The range seems to start at around $60.00 up to $120.00 for the more elaborate models. If you've ever made a template for a guitar, and tried to keep it to historical scale, then I think you'd find this a deal. Just thought I'd share. Happy Trails Cynical One

I'll bite - +1! ;D
Straight to References, I tells ya, straight away it goes!
eBay has at least a couple of vendors selling templates, at a small fraction less than these folks, but I'm sure I'm not the only one who prefers to deal with a company that has more presence than an eBay kiosk.
Much Grass!
