So I picked up a roll of this www.stewmac.com/shop/Electronics,_pickups/Supplies:_Wire,_cables/Pushback_Shielded.html thinking it would be cool to wire my Gilmour Strat project with it, but it then occurred to me that the thing is covered in metal. Am I right to assume this wire should be for input only? If I use it for hookup, do I need to ground the outer braid for every hookup? What's a good vintage wire I should use?
