I've been looking high and low for a tab to "All Mixed Up" by the cars (it's the depressing second half of "Moving In Stereo", on the first album), but I just can't seem to find one. I've seen chords, and I've seen pieces, but I haven't seen a full tab with the solos and fills, and I haven't the ear to sound it out for myself.
Anyone stumbled on something like this? I'm sure someone's sounded this out at some point, it's a fantastic song.

Rather eclectic tune to expect a FULL tab on. Chords and mini bridge tab on Chordie.com, intro tab on ultimate guitar. Elliot Easton is one of my favs.

Yeah, I found the chords and a riff here and there, but I haven't got the skill to figure out the tricky bits and they don't seem to be up anywhere. Such a shame, it's a great tune. Elliot Easton definitely doesn't get the appreciation he deserves for the work he did in the Cars.

Have you ever tried any of the software available to slow down a song and maintain the pitch? I use one on my phone (Slow Down Music Player (free) or trainer ($3.99) iTunes Store) that fits the bill, and can grab songs from my phone OR PC's music library. There are a number of free/cheap ones for most any O/S. I'd also look for a performance video of Elliot (preferably) playing it to point you in the right direction.

You can slow tracks with Audacity. And it only costs 0€ (freeware), probably the same in any currency.......... Audacity at sourceforge

Anothr cool trick is to use the windows media player (don't know aobut mac or other players if they can do this) ~ but if there is a youtube clip, you can play it and somewhere in the options, you can decrease the video speed, the audio plays at correct pitch, but slower and can watch the hands as well.
Not so much good if there is no video, dont know the song, but admire elliot eastons work generally
