Our very own self-hating Tragic Hero now has only one year left before he has to hang it all up and become a square (hit's the big Three-Oh)! You know what to do, TTH - amp to 11 and Teen Spirit until the cops come aknockin' on yer door! ;D
HBD, pardner!

Yes, Happy Birthday, Tragic! I note that he hasn't logged in since we last wished him HBD, so maybe once again we will get him up out of the basement and into the light of day . . .

personally i have entered fake birth dates (but close).... maybe ppl fear getting identified ? but, imo generally ppl consider this as a sensitive personal data, and it might very well be fake.

Yes, it's possible, but it's the sentiment that counts, right? (I have to admit, my own registered b-day is "fake" - it's the date found on the original IBM PC (waaaaay back when) when it first booted up. For those who came late to the party..... Back then, there not only wasn't even a floppy drive, there was a DIN jack on the back where you plugged in, gasp, a tape player (usually a cassette deck, such things being barely two years old at that point in time) to load/store your programs and data. Anyways, when the machine first booted up, you were told that the current time and date were 12:00pm and Jan 01, 1980. You were given a chance to enter the current time-and-date, or even a fake one if you wished, or you could just bypass it altogether. Most of us did that, until the floppy drive came along. Suddenly, it was important to date-stamp your freshly minted files. But it wasn't until the AT (with an 80286 inside) came out, with a battery under the clock chip, that we could finally get on with our business instead of drearily typing in the date and time, every time we re-booted our machines.) Geez, that sure came out of left field! Looks like I better go take some of my own meds. But yeah, privacy or not, some people do like to "mess with the man", or "screw the system", you're correct about that. sumgai

Well, well, they're popping back up out of the woodwork, just like good little Nutz - first it was ux4484, now it's TheTragicHero. Our cup overfloweth! ;D
Trag, hope your birthday was a good 'un, even if it was busy not playing a guitar (or two, or....). You used to toss out some pretty good "off the wall" suggestions, back in your day.... why don't you stick around for awhile and occasionally goose these young newfers, sorta goad them into thinking outside of the box, as it were. I'd sell tickets to that one! ;D
