For the third time this year school is closed because it's too fricking cold. So my boys and I learned how to make a video for YouTube.

With the Big Box of brownies, I would have thought they'd be bouncing off the walls from a sugar buzz...
There's no inspiration like a snow day (err . . . cold day).

My girls have often commented that the multi-colored candy on cosmic brownies does not justify the name. They both got a kick out of this ash.

What was in those brownies?! IDK, but they're called "Cosmic Brownies". As soon as I saw them on the shelves I knew I had to make this video. Was supposed to have been a learning experience showing them how the videos they see on Youtube get made. The editting process didn't interest them though, so it turned into dad doing all the work while they watched videos of other people playing video games. :/ greekdude - The thermometer says -10F right now. With wind chill is somewhere around -50F I think. Between snow, illness, holidays, and life threatening cold, I haven't had both of the boys in school for a full week since early November I think. I don't much mind, really, except they're gonna have to make up these days somewhere later in the year.

It has recently been colder here than on Mars. Literally.

It has recently been colder here than on Mars. Literally. Probably because the global warming nuts haven't yet figured out how to blame humanity for mucking up Mars!

In my youth, I spent 4 years 35 miles north west of you ash, I remember many school snow days, though never any cold days. We've had 4 cold days for school here in Chiberia as well this year. There hasn't been this many days off here since January 1979 (that was for cold AND snow).
