I thought we had one of these in here, until I went looking for a link to help out Son O Sonny- and couldn't find anything to link him to.
SO, here's a generic phase switch, which can be cut/pasted into diagrams as needed.
Note that the black output wire, labelled as "To output -" will often be grounded, except in schemes where, for example, some series wiring follows on after the phase switch.
