so i've rearranged my life a bit so that i now have a flexible schedule and can go back and fix some of the wiring atrocities in partscasters past i've been gutting some of them to sell pickups on ebay (i keep digging in parts bins and finding more lol) when i realized it should be a lot easier to work on the wiring without the pickguard attached by a short wire to the jack then i found these and thought "huh" i purchased the 5 male/5 female because why not? anyone tried this? i think it'll make working on stuff easier if i can just detach the pickguard and put it on my bench. (the original thought came because i have two guitars i eventually want to put sustainers in but want to keep things as modular as possible... have the guitars working and add the sustainers when i have the time/patience to futz with the itty bitty effing wire) feel free to move me if i have misplaced this thread

The link works fine now and it's a pretty good idea. The little flat connectors like EMG uses would take up less space but you'll pay more for those.
The pickguard not dangling by a wire attached to the guitar while you're working on it: Priceless.
