Ill be honest, sometimes with wiring one can take their own knowledge for granted, thinking “oh, I know that one.” Yesterday, I had a big mental block on something simple, and it was a Telecaster 4-Way with Half Phase to the Neck. I kept on getting the Neck to ground out in the half phase mode. Finally, I remembered and it was a “Oh, I know that, how stupid of me” moment. But, I thought on these simple mods, I need to diagram them out so when I have a Cindi moment in the future, I can just grab it. Hence, I am going to post some simple mods in the future. They may already be up here in some form; but, it never hurts to add to a big repository. Have a good day!!! 🍁🍁🍁.

...but a big suppository nearly always hurts. Yeah, that's a great old wiring option. I use it on a blend. You can use a much lower cap value for a higher crossover point as well. I generally set mine up for a 2~4kHz crossover.

I would find the order of positions on the 4-way switch to be odd, not having the bridge and neck pickups at opposite ends of the switch, with the parallel and series in the middle positions. sumgai 's version of the 4-way wiring has the positions more logically ordered, at least from my perspective:

With this switch, the order is arbitrary and you can really swap it around any way that makes sense to you, if you're careful. That part that sort of bugs me is that it leaves the neck hanging from hot when it's not selected. sumgai's version shows how to fix that, too, though.
