Some time ago, I posted an updated Spin-A-Split Diagram. I left out the Ground Wire and with inspection of the original, noticed the NF and SF were reversed. This is correct and verified. I just put it in a guitar today.

UP you have shorted NF and NS together and SF and SS together on Ground.
DOWN, you in Series but there is a POT around the South Pole
I find the easy way to look at these circuits is to cover up one side

Waitasec,
If the labels SF, SS, NF, NS mean "SouthFinish", "SouthStart", "NorthFinish", "NorthStart".... then according to the new diagram, doesn't pulling up on the knob just short both coils? Or does my admittedly rookie brain need a kick adjustment?

Doesn’t do that. I’ve got it in a guitar.

If NF is wired where SF is shown on the diagram, and vice versa, then all will be well in Spin-A-Split Land.

I owe you guys an apology. I have severe ADD and as Newey and the gang well know, I do mis-diagram from time to time. But my intentions are good. I will fix😸 Please forgive me Steve and Angellahash. I was arrogant and haughty taughty.

Angel😺,
I don’t think that’s ever going to happen. I think too visually and literally. I wish I could do it.

For what it's worth, Verified Version #2 looks good to me. In this case, I'm reading that it's the South coil that gets "Spun Out", i.e. shorted to ground, as the knob gets turned toward zero. Also, that the two coils will hum-cancel if they're a typical RWRP pair, like in a humbucker. Thanks for posting so much, frets. I really enjoy seeing your stuff, especially photos of your actual soldering, and, aside from that, I'm thrilled that Girl-Tech gets so many clients.
