This is a two concentric harness for a PTBM, simplified from a previous version.

frets- This is cool, I think I will give it a try on my next build. Got all the parts I'd need except the inductors.

I did try a 500K on the Bass in a G&L but I couldn't hear the difference till it went over 250K (Maybe my ears tho) It would also explain The C1M (REV Log) as it would jump to high resistance quick

Newey, thanks😸😸😸,
It really is a powerful harness and perfect for a Tele. I use non-detente concentrics (Alpha brass shafts). Although dime-sized, I find the Alpha’s to be an easier fit given all the caps, etc.. Although I show a Xicon (Mouser) Audio Signal Transformer like it would be put towards the pot’s back, I actually run a leash (wires) from the pot and hot glue the transformer between the two pots. Another reason to use the Alphas. But, if you use CTS concentrics, you can use an smd transformer at 2.0H. If you need one, just let me know and I’ll send it to you.

I can’t hear the difference. But I do use an A1M on Strat ones (just because I have the A1M pots😸) I have never used a C pot for this mod, preferring the traditional tone sweep. I need to try it though out of curiosity.

If you need one, just let me know and I’ll send it to you. Thanks for the offer, but I need to put in a parts order anyway. Apparently, now including concentric pots n' knobs . . .

Hi frets, what pins do you use on the transformer? I added the letters A - F to the image (grabbed from the product's data sheet). Which pins get soldered? And, as a separate question: in the schematic, which numbers match with which letters? -- so I can also try to understand what's happening electrically. Thanks!

ssstonelover added this image from PTBM (passive bass/treble/mid) for bass guitar "There may be questions about the Xicon transformer. You use the 2 outer legs on the "Primary" side. All other legs can be clipped off. I got a 1.1H reading."I have a project on an old Peavey Foundation getting a third pickup that this sounds like an attractive option... HTC1

C is the Rev/Inver Log So a big Jump up to 250K and then smooth flow on to 1M. If we say the 0-250K is say 25% of the Turn and 250K-1M is the 75% a Lin would be 0-125K is 25% and then 125K-1M 75% and Log 0-250K would be 75% and 750K-1M the last 25%
