Re: 1 Single Coil+1 Humbucker/3-Way Lever Switch/1 Volume Control/North Coil Tap Humbucker in Mid Position A questions for the experts: I want the SC to see a 250K pot and the humbucker to see a 500k pot. In the middle position id like to be able to get that strat quack sound with a split humbucker (slug side) and the single coil. (I realize the SC needs to be wound clockwise from top with south pole up) Will this wiring below work? Thanks

Will this wiring below work? It will work, although I'm not sure how well it will quack unless the spacing between the North coil of the HB and your SC is similar to the spacing of two adjacent pickups on a Strat. Also, the South coil of the HB will hang from hot in the middle position of the selector, but that can't be avoided when only using two poles. I prefer to avoid having unused coils hanging from hot, but I wouldn't allow that preference to stop me if there wasn't an easy solution. Were I to do a Hum-Sing, I'd probably choose a 4P5T (SuperSwitch or Megaswitch M) for the selector. You could add two more choices, such as Bridge North x SC South (series) and Bridge HB (coils in parallel). Or perhaps drop one of those and add Bridge South X SC South out-of-phase (hum-canceling) or Bridge (series) HB in parallel with the SC.

Thanks guys for the suggestions. If you could, can you please check the wiring and see if it works with the switching positions.(I really want that quack in the middle position.)
Thanks in advance

position 3 will get you there but as stated above, it depends on how close the neck and the split bucker coil are to each other (and probably how similar they are to each other).

Here is the Schaller HS wiring diagram. It has a Humbucker in the neck and a SC in the bridge. (Mines opposite plus I added a resistor to the SC do it sees a 250K pot.) I'm a little worried where I have my 5 & 6 switch position connections.
Below is the Schaller diagram for reference to compare to what I think it should be for my HS configuration above.
