underhill- We don't have a lot of diagrams with the Freeway switches, they're fairly new to the market. I don't recall a triple P90 scheme being posted. But if you tell us what you want the Freeway switch to do with these 3 pickups, we can probably help. Also, there are a couple of different versions of the Freeway Switch, we will need to know the type you have (assuming you already bought it).

Hi underhill, welcome back to GN2! i am trying to locate a schematic for 3 P90s in conjunction with a single volume/tone pots and a Free-Way multi toggle selector switch. Could you list what you want your 6-way Free-Way selector switch to do with the 3 single coils and a volume and tone pot? (The SSS diagrams I searched through usually use 5-way switches; some use a 3-way switch a push-pull pot, or a switch, to enable series or parallel options.) Would this be what you desire for your 6-way switch to do:? 1.) N 2.) N * M 3.) M 4.) M * B 5.) B 6.) N * M * B (Note: at GN2, ‘*’ denotes series; and ‘+’ denotes parallel) I can’t help make a diagram, but this info you supply will surely help skilled repliers. I’m also under the impression that a 180° turn, the pickup is spun around like a clock hand, of your middle P90 will cause positions 2, 4, and 6, in my question above, to be hum free. edit: Ninja’d by newey

Hi underhill , Free-Way has schematics on their site. You didn't say which model of the toggle though. There are two. Go here: www.freewayswitch.com/schematics-toggle/Under the heading 3X3-03 Model - Schemes for 3 Pickup GuitarsThe 3 Pickups & 2 Pots (2) would be most appropriate, if you have that switch. There are two diagrams. Each has a different set of combinations. Under the heading 3X3-05 Model - Schemes for 3 Pickup GuitarsThe 3 Pickups & 2 Pots would be most appropriate, if you have that switch. The first, second, and last diagrams on that page are appropriate for three single coil pickups.

thanks for the input on this. i have a Yamaha AEX-502 with 2 P90s and single vol/tone. i am wanting to add a third P90 and i believe the Freeway 3X3-07 selector switch is the one i need. i want to be able to switch selecting just the neck, the middle, and the bridge plus running the neck and middle and the middle and the bridge. most likely will stick with the single vol/tone pots. thanks again for the response.

Hello Underhill, I found this diagram on the Freeway switch website - and it looks like what you are looking for. Although 3 humbuckers are shown, you can substitute your P90's directly for the humbuckers, without circuit modification. As shown on the diagram, your chosen pickup combinations will be selected using the following switch positions: 1. Neck, 3. Bridge, 5. Middle, 4. Neck + Middle, 6. Middle + Bridge. There is one further combination available (not on your list): 2. Bridge + Neck. Here is the Freeway diagram:
