It seems to me that there are not many ladies in GN2? Dont get me wrong, I know its not a pick up site...well it kind of is if her last name is DiMarzio....or, well you know where im going with that! It would be nice to get a ladies point of view on things from time to time. I am taken by the way and look very much like Brad Pitt...or was that arm pit? ( You know I love you Jenny )

I've often wondered why guitars and guitar playing is such a male-centric thing. Music and records in general seem to be the realm of the male, at least with respect to the whole nerdy obsessive/compulsive angle. I'm sure there is some data at some university somewhere, and in the marketing department at Gibson (have you seen their new girlie guitars for 06?). I frequent three different guitar boards, and there are precious few women participating. I'd like to think they're actually playing their guitars instead of talking about them, but somehow I don't think a woman would pass up the opportunity to talk about.... just about anything.

the only female i've chatted with here (to my knowledge), has been Ella (tadfury). very polite, and fun, both in public and P.M.
there are lots fewer ladies playing than men. and lots less than that who are interested in the nut, bolts, and wires.
so even finding one, on our forum seems a bit unusual.
but, since we're (usually) so well mannered, maybe that's a conducive environment.
