Hello All, First time posting. I love my hot rodded telecaster 4-way wiring (neck, Neck/Br parallel, Br, Neck/br series), but after accidentally wiring one of the pickups backwards, thought the resultant out-of-phase sounds on position 2 and 4 were worthy of further exploration.
I'm wondering if anyone here could help me figure out a schematic where position 2 and 4 could be a BLENDED out-of-phase with a double stacked pot, so center dent would be normal phase and left or right on the knob would lean the phase toward one pickup or the other? Full on out-of-phase is interesting musically, but a bit much sometimes. I'd like to be able to choose how much honk/character to add.
I've seen phase blender schematics for strat 5-ways. I'm thinking the same idea could be applied on a hot rodded custom tele/style? Master volume, master tone, and phase blender?
I love the series combination. If I had to, I could do without the normal parallel combination option if I could only do this with a 3-way.
Any wiring guru's have ideas?
Thanks for reading. Fitz
