New to this forum and glad to have found it! I've bought a Harley Benton Red Special BM75 as bit of an experimental guitar from a wiring point of view. The stock wiring is a bit basic i.e. a 5 way strat style and then out of phase for positions 2 & 4 Basically I'd like some true series parallel options without adding extra DPDTs (it already has 3!) but I'd also like to have an out phase option. I know that you only one pick up to be out phase to be in combination with another for this to work but I'm not so sure how this might work series wiring. I'd like to have: - The normal 5 way strat style wiring (which it currently has)
- neck and middle in series (a must)
- bridge in series with either neck or middle not too bothered which
- an out of phase switch for series options
I've found this video online which is pretty much what I want without the phase switch see below - the question is where do I put the phase switch and how do I wire it? See below I've also seen this on this forum but it doesn't have a neck and middle in series option and I only need one master tone Any help on this is much welcomed!

nobulusprime- Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!Basically I'd like some true series parallel options without adding extra DPDTs (it already has 3!) but I'd also like to have an out phase option. What are the other push/pulls doing now? I think we're probably going to need a diagram of your current wiring as a starting point here? If one of the existing tone pots could be eliminated, this may simplify things.

nobulusprime- Hello and Welcome to G-Nutz2!Thank you! Basically I'd like some true series parallel options without adding extra DPDTs (it already has 3!) but I'd also like to have an out phase option. What are the other push/pulls doing now? I think we're probably going to need a diagram of your current wiring as a starting point here? They're actually doing nothing currently, they were simply phase switches for each pick up (why they needed 3 I don't know) I'll have one left over unused. Incidentally, they're not push pulls (I know that doesn't matter) they're panel switches as per the original Red Special. If one of the existing tone pots could be eliminated, this may simplify things. That's what I want to hear!
