I've spent most of the past six months or so in a depressive episode unable to get off the couch but i got commissioned to make a 'civil war' big muff by someone who bought a tube preamp pedal i made from his bandmate. construction is rather amp-like using tagboard strips and big 220nf coupling caps everywhere (no mojo transistors here: 2n5088 work cromulently and much nicer on the wallet). momentary footswitch for a drone feedback loop and a three-way toggle switch for a switchable pre-/post-boost (center is both. kinda noisy. just a simple lpb boost). customer is happy and i made a couple bucks (and learned a lesson not to under charge)

I've yet to sell anything. But if long-term success is a goal, it seems normal that under charging would feel right in the early going. Otherwise, higher prices might make those first sales take longer, which could test the conviction to carry on.
