Hi, Just back from a friend who is trying to problem solve a kit build. His son has a Stew Mac build that sports a P90 on the neck, Humbucker at the bridge position and a Piezo built into the actual bridge.
Has Vol and Tone that control either of the magnetic pickups. Then has another Vol /tone set of pots for the Piezo. The Vol pot for the Piezo is meant to blend in the piezo on demand or dial it out.
He says that he can go to Piezo alone by dialing the mag pickups out.
It has a three way switch and a stereo jack. Not sure why he has the stereo jack. Switch can select either mag pickup or the two together. Piezo is no all the time and uses blend pot.
If anyone has this style of circuit? Is this idea even doable. I can see that the blending in of the Piezo as being a problem without an on/off selector for the Piezo... but not sure.
This guitar does not have a battery for the Piezo.
