In thread " Kay K2 / 2 Black foils, 2 switches, Tone, Volume" reTrEaD found a way to use a pair of DPDT switches to get combos in the following table: Neck Switch | Bridge Switch | Result | ⇧ | ⇧ | Both Parallel | ⇧ | ⇩ | Neck Only | ⇩ | ⇧ | Bridge Only | ⇩ | ⇩ | Both Series |
A solution was offered by reTrEaD in this postI want to compare that with the pair of slide switches that are built into Seymour Duncan Triple Shot humbucker rings. I think the TS switches function just like reTrEaD's answer, though with a different order for the selection. The TS offers another configuration: Choice E:Neck Switch | Bridge Switch | Result | ⇧ | ⇧ | Neck Only | ⇧ | ⇩ | Both Parallel | ⇩ | ⇧ | Both Series | ⇩ | ⇩ | Bridge Only |
(actually, I forget! Maybe Series and Parallel are swapped)Point is, does anybody have diagrams for the Triple Shot, to see if they mirror the above? Especially the pains taken to avoid hanging coils.

stevewf- We do, there is a thread from when SD first issued the Triple Shot™ pickup rings where we sussed out the wiring and also discussed possible other wirings which might be done with them. I'll have to search for that thread. But you are correct thet the Triple Shots use what we call the "binary tree" wiring (albeit with slide switches) EDIT: Found it: guitarnuts2.proboards.com/thread/4157
