frets , Err, your diagram above takes several turns away from Jack's circuit, which is shown here: The main thing I spotted was that essentially you are showing two volume pots in series, whereas Jack shows his pots in parallel, ala the standard guitar control setup. Neither of your pots will do much to alter the tone without also varying the volume in an undesirable manner. HTH sumgai

frets, I'm not quite sure what you're after with the treble-cut tone control. Were you intending '50s wiring and errantly misplaced the purple wire that would go from the wiper of the volume pot to the output jack? Or did you really mean have the output connected after the cap and have the tone pot as a shunt?
