Hi,
I was just wondering if anyone knows of an effects pedal that could make a guitar sound like a Hammond organ.
Thanks.

Hi, I was just wondering if anyone knows of an effects pedal that could make a guitar sound like a Hammond organ. Thanks. Yep. It's called a Roland GR-20, or if you'd rather have the big brother to that unit (but it's been discontinued), find a GR-33. Almost as good, the older brother would be the GR-30. All are available on eBay for $400, maybe less. If you want, you can also use a GI-20, and hook up an external synth module. All these units have one teensy little requirement - they operate from a hexaphonic pickup with some associated electronics. Installing one of those should be a walk in the park for 90% of us here, or so I should think. ;D Out of your budget? Then you're down to faking it in some Gawd-awful way that no one will appreciate. Either you use a synth, or you don't get the desired results. sumgai

The best is called a Rotosphere. Its made by Hughes & kettner. I have tried them all and this one by far is the best. I was actually thinking of building my own Leslie this summer. Ill let you know how I make out.
