Ibanez makes a nice mid-level 7-string acoustic. The AJ307ECENT is made from a solid Engelmann Spruce top, rosewood back and sides, and has a Fishman Matrix piezo with a Prefix Plus T preamp in it. I ordered it through GC and it's gonna be on layaway for a long time, but I hear tell they're getting ready to stop making it and I want my name on one... anyone have any experience with it?

Wow! I didnt know they did 7-stringed acoustics! Ive been wanting one of their 7-stringed for a while now. but i dont really know what ones to get... i've only seen the, K7, the RG 7 string (hard tail) and Prestiege RG with Lo-pro edge. I wasnt too keen on the tone of the Prestiege... I wanna get a 7 stringed S series but they dont seem to be available anymore

The RG 7-string seems good, I've played a couple. Drop a set of DiMarzio Blaze pups in one and I bet you'd have a killer axe. Other than that, look into Schecter as well.
