Hello everyone, things are going very fast now!... last week I discovered the beast mod, did that and I must say its awsome. Then I received echo that I would like the callaham bridge assembly. So I checked that out and decided to order, I was happy to imagine putting a left handed bridge on a normal guitar. But now I just recieved notice that I would have to carve out a chunk of wood to do this, and I would be left with a hole for the original right handed bridge. It all came back to me, remembered the pictures on S.R.V guitar with the plugged hole at the bottom of the bridge. Soooo, now I have already ordered the left handed bridge, so im thinking, what the heck, I would love to have the tremolo on top of the bridge, and its not like im butchering a 57 original. So im determined to do this, if it can be done on a original 60/1/2/3? of S.R.V then I can too!! So anybody done this? I will probably have it done profesionally, but Id be interested in the comments. Its a 62 reissue american made in 87. Here she is.... thanks for the replies

!You already know how to do this, you just don't know it yet!
Since you have the 6 vibrato pivot screw holes, you know the symmetry line between the middle two. Just duplicate the cavity shape on the control cavity side over to the other side. Use thin graph paper to trace it, and use the flipped tracing as a drill guide.
Assuming that you're a U.S. resident, go to Lowe's and buy the set of Chinese Forstner bits (?$15 to $20) to drill the corner radii of the enlarged cavity.
Or, call Callaham and see if it shipped yet.

Hey Chrisk, thanks for the info man, you are the one who tuned me to the callaham,at first I was a bit bummed at learning about the routing, but now its like I cant wait. Ive always wanted the reverse tremolo but thought it was not possible. So anyway please tell me more about the Chinese Forstner bits... is that the cone shaped bit with progressive radius? any pics possible?. Ill go check out the Warmoth site. thanks!

I think I understand the routing now correct me if Im wrong, but it seems that all I would have to route would be only about half inch thick ? and the rest is already hollow? I guess I would see that if my guit was taken apart.
