Hi
Some of you may remember I was conducting a project at school; making a guitar from scratch... yeah risky.... Well I'm on to the designing and I'm looking for a tone wood supplier in the uk, I know of three but they don't seem to have what I'm looking for at the moment. Can anybody suggest some suppliers in the UK?
The ones I know are: Touchstone tonewoods David Dyk e Craft Supplies
Thanks in advance

What are you looking for? David dyk e normally has most things a luthier could want. Craft Supplies seem to be running down their tonewood selection into the gutter. John Boddy in Boroughbridge is where I buy all my wood from, marvellous selection of hardwoods for guitar building. There's plenty more resources if you look through the forum of UK Guitar builders simnettguitars.co.uk/forum/index.php?board=4.0Tonewood supplies UK Highly Strung SL hardwoods Scottish hardwoods Ockenden timber A lot also run ebay outlets. Good luck in your search.
