Somewhere in/about the early to mid 1970's there was a song released that was called ( or so my memory tells me) The Van. It did real well, for a long time. Can anyone tell me the name of the artist that played it? I've been wracking my brain for this bit of trivia, and cant find it anyplace. ???Thanks . Oh, and Loudon Wainwright III, did "Dead Skunk" in case you are wondering. Bob

Just a brief explanation..........on a recent walkabout (even tho I drove) I passed thru a small town in Idaho. It was aptly named Idaho City. Think the population was 463 including cats, dogs ,racoons and road kill. Anyway, it actually had a dirt road main street that you could throw a rock from end to end. That song popped into my mind and even tho I could recall all the words to the song, I couldnt remember the artist....so, been banging my head on the wall for a couple weeks now. ::)But, no more.....YAY!!!!!!!!!!!. Ok, maybe that wasnt so brief. Sorry. Bob
