Hi everyone, Im new...great site . About ohms, Ive noticed that bridge pups are 1k to 1.5k hotter than the neck. How much difference does this make when matching pups? Would a 6.7k SC at the neck and 10k HB at the bridge sound noticeably unbalanced ? AT what point does this become noticeable?

Hi lpf-
Bridge pups need to be somewhat hotter (in general) because the string vibration's "travel", so to speak, is less near the bridge end of the string.
The numbers for the single coil and HB you give should be fine, but only your ears can judge. There are too many variables with different pups to have a hard and fast rule for how much variation is ok.
And, if it's not to your liking, adjusting the height of one or the other pup is always an option.
