Ok Ok, I know their are a few potential jokes in my subject line!!! But i was wondering how I can tell what year my mim strat is. The serial number is MZ0109004, and it is routed individually for 3 single coils. I bought it used, and someone had put texas specials in it. Other than that I was told it was just a regular standard mim strat. But, i thought that standards had a "swimming pool" route in them as opposed to 3 single coil routes. Maybe I'm wrong, so if someone could help me figure out what exactly this guitar is i would appreciate it.

Ok Ok, I know their are a few potential jokes in my subject line!!! Well, if you already know the jokes, then that takes the fun out of it for me. ;D But seriously, folks, it looks like "Z0" means 2000-2001. They change routes on those things, including MIA's, as much as we change our socks sometimes. My '94 MIA has a pool route but now they're H-S-H. Here's how to date yours (other than dinner for 2....LOL) www.fender.com/support/dating/mexican_dating.phpLooks like yours is a 2000-2001 model.
