Hey guys; Has anyone had any experience with this brand? I've always wondered about them. They seem to have good reviews on Harmony Central. If anyone owns one, or has used one in the past I would like to hear your opinion on them. their website is www.reverendguitars.com James

How do I put this kindly? I think Reverend builds some of the crappiest waste of wood, frets, plastic, and whatever else they find on the floor, ever made! I've repaired a few in the past year, and I seriously question the sanity of the owners. I grant them their P90 copies. They're quite good. I don't like the necks, I've found that they twist more then a Fender. I've seen neck joint cracks that shouldn't be in a guitar twenty times their age. I, in all good conscience, wouldn't recommend one of these. But that's just my opinion. My friend has had one for 8 years or so, a regular gigging axe, and he loves it to death! Never needed to take a tool near it, never had to adjust the truss rod, plays as well as the day he bought it. (I didn't like it then, still don't like it now, but there's a little bit of respect there for it.)

lol thanks mirpa;
they have always been sorta intriguing to me. I'd love to get my hands on one just to see what it's like, but that prolly won't happen.
Thanks for the info

"All indians walk in single file, at least the one I saw did"! That said, I finally was able to play a "rocco" (it was used) and was impressed at how light it was "but" was quickly dissapointed by the lack of sustain, and depth that a normal solid or plywood guitar would have (I played a cardboard guitar that had better sustain and depth). The neck was O/K and the frets were fair. The pups were decent but when a guitar has little or no natural sustain the pups couldn't keep up. The guitar looks cool but for the price and its obvious faults I wouldn't waste my money!
