;D Just bought a NOS Schecter Blackjack C-1 on eBay. After asking the dealer to cover shipping if I "BIN," applying a Paypal coupon and using $17 from my Paypal balance, the grand total was... $372. Not bad, IMO. I'm looking forward to it arriving and introducing it to my 5150 combo.

NOS? How does that apply to a model the line of which is under two years old?
Other than that, good choice. I've had the privelage of rocking on both the six and seven string C Blackjack guitars; I don't think you'll be disappointed.

Well it's not NOOOOOOOOOOS...... ;D The shop that sold it to me got it from a Schecter rep recently, and it was either last year's or the year before's model. Should be here by the weekend, hopefully.

WOW!!! I love this thing! ;D Granted, it's the first guitar I've owned that had decent pups. Lemme tell ya... the JB/'59 combo is sweet! Usable tones at each position, including the split coil sounds. It looks great and sounds even better. It doesn't weigh much and the mahogany keeps the sound from being too bright. The set, ultra-access neck makes it ridiculously easy to play up to the 24th fret. Being a black guitar, it is prone to fingerprints. The lack of pickguard leaves it vulnerable to pick scratches. But the finish seems durable, and the look is killer. The only real downside I've noticed so far is the G string going out of tune. I recently read that this is an issue with 3x3 headstocks. Is that correct? Man. I can't express how good it feels to have pickups that "pick up" each note cleanly, instead of the muddy pieces of junk on my Peavey Raptor. I sound like a 10x better player and my tone has skyrocketed. I'm still terrible, of course. But the journey ahead is going to be a blast with the C-1 Blackjack!
