i bought a yamaha RGS 121 last year and i like it a lot. it has a good sound quality (clean and distorted) although i wish the pick-ups that came with it were a little more sensitive. other than that this is a good guitar for th price(200$). has anyone else heard of it? if you have post any differences with your experience with it

it is a nice guitar but if i had to buy a new guitar for that price i would rather take cort g250. much more bang for the buck.

My first guitar was a Yamaha RGX 121 S. I loved it. It was a great little machine, and I had it for years until I found some other stuff that I decided I liked better. Kinda sad to see it go, but it seemed like a good idea at the time. The one thing that I wasn't a vrey big fan of with it was that the frets were really.....uhm.....I'm not sure the right word to use here, but I think it's narrow. As in, they weren't very wide across the short way. Which made it a bit harder to play, but the neck on it was awesome other than that. Wicked thin, and played really smooth. Mine was set up a bit high from the factory, and I got it down a little bit, but still not as excellent as I'd prefer. Mine was a HSH setup, but as I recall it only had 2 conductor humbuckers. It was a sweet guitar though. I loved mine.
