Oops, sorry.
It's an Oscar Schmidt, part of the Washburn aliance. I've been watching them and reading about them for the last year and a half and they usually sell for $149. From what I have been reading they are a hit or miss item and fortunately I got a hit. Got it at Musician's Friend.
I've wanted a Epiphone DOT of Sheraton for quite a while now and have play several. The cheap rascal I am couldn't part with that much cash to add one to my line up. It feels solid and is heavy, sounds good, have not run across any buzzes, requiered no intonation adjustment out of the box and the strings were new and were able to hold their tune and are playable. Is a $600 Sheraton, of course not, but since it was a hit and not a miss, it's fantastic $99 guitar and at that price it's a keeper and a player.

Hey yeah I actually just picked up a black one off eBay for $75, I'm in the process of taking it apart and inspecting it, then setting it up properly...or at least to my liking. I've always wanted a 335 style guitar and have played other people's 335s when i had the chance. Alvin Lee was my first guitar influence and if he could rock and wail on one...then I wanted to as well. Harmony Central's user reviews were pretty favorable so it was worth a shot.

Any idea what the wood is? The Oscar Schmidt website refers to Washburn for specs and the comparable Washburn model HB35 is a maple body
