About to be discontinued maybe?

My local shop has a four string for now $425 new, with the gigbag and all the stuff.
Still can't bring meself to buy it since I kinda fell in love with a discontinued Jaguar Baritone Guitar (which ain't either, it's a six string real short scale bass).
