I may be adopting a new guitar. Lawson Van Essa. Never heard of it, but I found one on eBay that doesn't look too bad. Maybe somebody has played one?
I may soon be selling some Lefties I rarely use too, so let me know who needs a southpaw guitar of decent quality at a reasonable price.

I purchased a Lawson VanEssa L off ebay about a year ago. and though you may have already done so in the past month, I advise that you dont get this guitar. It doesnt stay in tune worth jack unless you replace all the hardware (tuners, bridge, tailpiece) and the frets of it are really tiny, and its impossible to get a decent sound out of some frets unless you set the action really high. I took off the pickguard right away; as it caused a lot of unwanted vibration. no matter how i adjust the saddles, this guitar cant be properly intonated. the fretboard is the dryest piece of wood I have ever seen. and the finish is really sloppy around the binding (they stained over it a little.) and the sound of it is very distinct... and it takes a little getting used to.
but on a positive note, for the duration that you can keep it in tune, this guitar isn't half bad when you plug it in, though mine was wired backwards. and I have talked with an ebay seller about the Vai Handle guitars, and they said that they use jumbo frets in those guitars, and there is no binding, therefore the finish should be fine and bad fret vibrations should be at a minimum. and they use a pretty legit-looking licensed Floyd, so staying in tune shouldn't be a problem. I'd say that Lawson is probably a better company for solid bodies than anything else, while I still must test this.
but IF you still want to try the Van Essa lefty, I still have mine In close to the same condition that I got it in off ebay. however I replaced the tuners with Grovers so there are six tiny holes from the old ones on the back of the headstock. and I lost the pickguard bracket, but if you're smart you wouldn't use that anyway. in all honesty this guitar is a workpiece, but you'd have to spend more than its worth to make it good. i'd suggest a refret, a bigsby and a roller tailpice, then this guitar would be a show stopper. if you're still interested in one, I'll take any reasonable offer.
but in all curiosity, what kinds of guitars are you selling?
