To one of my budget, that looks... terribly interesting. The only offputting thing is the 8" speakers... a bit more trebly than what I'd be used to if I prefer 12s, right?

Normally I'd say so, but that depends. The revies I've read state the cab is terrible quality, that you shouldn't consider buying the amp unless you have the means and intent to modify the cab or use another one. And what do I know of the head's tone? I mean, a tube preamp is no laughing matter in an amp for that price, but good tone do not all tubes make!

i have bought the t-60r instead. same amp but instead of 4x8" half stack it is a 1x12" combo. the rest is the same. except the price, only 122 euros, 100 euros cheaper than the bigger brother. i thought that at that price i cannot be wrong with a hybrid 60 watt amp with a 12" speaker. and i was right, the amp sounds really good and i am happy it is very good for rock and okay for blues.
