$1,500+ a 147 in good shape, and they are heavy and hard to move, so unless you find one in your area expect to pay alot for freight shipping. Checkout Ebay, most of the starting bids are set at around $750, but I'm willing to bet that the reserve prices around easily above $1,000.
Also important to remember that there are several diffrent speaker models offered by Hammond, many with no rotating speaker. Alot of that Lesile sound you hear on records was the 147, which had multipule counter-rotating speakers. It pays to do your research on all the models before you take the plundge.
I'd buy a Rotovibe or Univibe for a couple hundread bucks, instead of having to deal with hunting down a Lesile...

and the guitarist from 3 dog night. (what was his name?)
yeah it sounds sweet. it feels even sweeter when you're the one playing through it. got a chance many years ago to play through one. don't know what model it was. not the black tolex kind. the wood one with the open back and the fancy furniture look. transistorized pre-amp separate box. tube amp in the main cabinet. twin horn deflector for the highs, almost circular baflle for the lows.
even the HUM sounded cool when you switched the speed and it was in the process of speeding up or slowing down.
but unless you're gonna put it in one place and just leave it there. take heed of Trey's advice. they're HEAVY like the Grand Canyon is DEEP.

You know, they had a wooden cabinet Leslie at my church when I use to operate the sound board. They replaced the whole organ with a keyboard. I'm not sure what they did with the organ or Leslie. I'll have to check.

I now have found out that they dont make Leslies anymore. I guess the prices will keep going up, and the parts will be harder to find. I guess the Rotosphere is the route to go.

Thanks for the post balckout...I was thinking the 147 model, but have pretty much given up. I dont want to spend hundreds possibly more to have it shipped here. I was told by a friend to check out older churches and make them an offer. hmmmm?.... My soul?
