I have a BV6212. Got it on eBay for $70 plus shipping. Came with issues and minus the speakers. Added speakers & played for about 10 hours (at the house) total before I had any real problems.
The Harmony Central reviews are mixed, but I decided it would be worth to check out. While it worked, I liked it a lot. Great sounds for garage/70s rock & blues (IMHO). NOT so great for shred or heavy metal without a pedal.
From what I read and what I've experienced, you probably won't want one unless you're interested in learning all about tube amp repair... Good thing I am!
I like mine and will do just about anything to get it working again. I plan to re-flow ALL the solder joints while I'm figuring out why the power tubes won't light anymore.
If you can get one cheap it might be worth it to you. Otherwise try to find one to play before you buy. CRATE deserves some of the bad rap they get because they like to build stuff cheap - but I like the sounds I get.
My neighbors, however, do not.

Blue DooDoo, IMO. Used to own a BV120 back in the 90's. The damn PCB fried around the power tubes 3 times. Finally got rid of it, picked up a used Marshall and never looked back. Still got the Marshall too.
Hopefully the quality has gotten better but after that experience, never again.
