Hi wonder if this is possible?
I usually use a Fender Roc PRo700, and some pedals for my drive/distortion...
The Fender ive had setup so it now drive a 4x12 Cab...
Anyway, i picked up a 2nd hand Vox Pathfinder amp, lovely little thing though its only 15w.....
When i drive it hard, it sounds really nice, but it just aint loud enough for practicing with the band.....
Any way i can boost it?

numbnut, I wondered how long it would be before someone came in with that name! I shoulda started a pool, eh? Beauty! ;D The best method of boosting your sound with that amp is gonna be to mic it to the PA. You could mess around with the innards, but I think you're gonna find that any technician that will work on this for you will charge more than the amp is worth. Not to mention that you'll end up changing the tone you like so much. You could try changing the speaker to either a more efficient unit, or a larger one althogether. That may give you "more" sound output, but it will also change the tone, too. Sorry to be a wet blanket. sumgai

Why not try hooking it up to a 1x12 ext cab? I did this with my Peavey Classic 20 amp, and it really opened up the sound. Got a better, bigger tone than the boxy-sounding stock amp could give on its own.

have everyone else turn down a notch or two...or leave the band and go solo. You dont need them anyway! ;D
