Again ive read an interesting article id like to share.
Yngwie Malmsteen said that he got drunk one night with Jim Marshall ( Yes, the amplifier guy )
Marshall told Malmsteen in a drunken stupor that back in the late 60's early 70's they didnt really give a *bleep*
Whenever they ran out of a capacitor or transformer they threw in whatever was lying around!
He said their slogan used to be...
"Marshall, the sound of success...No distortion!"
I guess thats why its a crap shoot to find a few old Marshalls that sound the same.
